Oak Pina // Timber Flooring
Oak Piña timber floorboards provide a unique reinterpretation of a classic colour scheme, imparting a dark, romantic, old-world ambience. Infused with a soft, warm undertone and subtle hints of copper hues, they are accompanied by a touch of smokiness. Dark-coloured splits and knots contribute to the distinctive character of the flooring.
As part of the Vienna Woods Distilled collection, the oak is sourced from Slow Grown FSC-certified Lithuanian Oak forests and produced in Europe. The extreme cold winters in Lithuania slows the growth of the oak to produce a very hard, dense wood. The extra long oak boards up to 2400mm bring a grand ambiance to any interior.
Available in a traditional oiled or matt lacquer finish, on 180mm or 220mm wide boards.
As a special order this product is available in a prime/ clean grade, a natural finish and even in wider boards or parquet options.
These wood floors garnish the name from the infamous cocktail; Piña Colada
The Piña Colada is believed to have been created in the 1950s or 1960s in Puerto Rico. There are multiple claims to its invention, but it is widely attributed to bartender Ramón “Monchito” Marrero, who reportedly crafted the cocktail at the Caribe Hilton hotel in San Juan in 1954. The recipe involves blending rum, coconut cream, and pineapple juice with ice, creating the iconic tropical drink we know today. The Piña Colada gained popularity over the years and is now enjoyed worldwide as a symbol of exotic and refreshing cocktails.
