Oak Seta Herringbone // Parquet Flooring

For a statement floor, try a classic chevron or herringbone pattern—the parquet styles have been around since the 17th century and can be seen in many chateaux and palaces in Europe.

Chevron planks meet in perfect points like a long string of arrows and can be in either a 45 or 60 degree angle, while herringbone planks look slightly staggered like fishbones.

Both of these zigzag designs can be used in conjunction with standard boards or alone to create a sophisticated and elegant ambiance.

The Benedictine Abbey of Admont was founded almost 1000 years ago in the stunning alpine region of Styria, Austria. Wood has been milled at the Admont site since 1874 and while it was originally the monks who guarded the knowledge of wood, today it is Admonter’s 300 employees who take care of 100% of production in Admont, so that this fine tradition lives on.

Admonter is now recognised as one of Europe’s most renowned natural wood flooring manufacturers; offering the absolute peak in wood craftsmanship, quality and beautiful design.

Admonter’s range of natural wood flooring and wood elements is 100% formaldehyde free.

Matching stair nosings and treads for open stairs are also available.
