Eco Floor Seta // Smoked Oak Flooring

This very popular smoked oak floor from renowned Austrian manufacturer Admonter, features rich brown and grey tones, a lightly brushed texture and rustic grading with dark filled knots and cracks.

The very subtle micro-bevelled edge defines each individual floorboard and generous fixed board lengths of 2.4 metres bring a noble ambience to the interior. Refined and fortified with a natural oil finish.

Smoking is a craft that creates a unique depth of colour on oak floorboards, with contrasting and lively tones that are full of character. This is achieved by an intense process where smoke reacts with the oak tannin to colour the wood. The final stage is an application of a tinted oil to create a beautifully natural work of art.

The Benedictine Abbey of Admont was founded almost 1000 years ago in the stunning alpine region of Styria, Austria. Wood has been milled at the Admont site since 1874 and while it was originally the monks who guarded the knowledge of wood, today it is Admonter’s 300 employees who take care of 100% of production in Admont, so that this fine tradition lives on
